I’d been devoted to textile design and the exploration of my leather goods brand for several years before the pandemic hit. When it did, and we were required to go into quarantine, a certain level of excitement was lit within me: This was a time to explore other facets of myself.
And so, my love for illustration and story telling, matched with an iPad Pro bought at the end of the previous year, led me to an artistic self-exploration.
The result was: There’s magic in every corner of my every day life.
I started taking mental and not so mental snapshots. I then reinterpreted them into the type of visual stories I wanted to tell.
The moment I heard of NFTs I knew, as an artist, I wanted to be a part of it and share my creative universe with the world.
My First NFT Collection(s)
This first collection is, as the title states, a set of “Snapshots of a Quarantine”. My quarantine. It’s divided in two parts, for I deeply desired to explore two completely different styles and tell relatively different feeling stories.
So, two OpenSea collections were born: Part I, already available at OpenSea and Part II which will be available for purchase later this year. You can read more about the different short stories behind each of the three designs available for Part I on further posts to come.
Hope you enjoy this ‘illustrated story telling’ content of mine, as much as I loved creating it.
